Dell outs two powerful AMD-based laptops

It seems that Intel has been hogging the spotlight these days with the continuous release of laptops featuring the Intel 2010 Core processors. This time though, Dell released two powerful laptops for its AMD fans.

Dell Inspiron M301z

The Inspiron M301z is a 13” thin-and-light laptop which can be powered by up to an AMD Turion™ II Neo K625 II low-voltage processor for longer battery life without compromising processing power.

It has a powerful integrated ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics, up to 640GB hard drive and a maximum 8GB of memory. All of these in a sleek, less-than-an-inch thing, curvy body that weighs less than 4 pounds.

If you need power on the go, the Inspiron M501R can be a worthy choice. Dell brings quad-core performance in this 15.6” laptop with the help of an AMD Phenom™ II Quad-Core processor with optional ATi Mobility Radeon discrete graphics.
